The Killer Zone

The Derailers showed up at B&B Grocery, Meat & Deli in Des Moines, Iowa. No, they are not a new High School going after our Lincoln Rails.  The Derailers are an American country music band from Austin, Texas.  

It is Big John’s birthday today.  He is the original “Happy Butcher”!  This picture is a classic.  It shows you how we became the World’s Coolest Butchers!  Happy Birthday, Dad!  We all love you!

Jim brought his ’32 Ford Roadster to B&B.  Jim is from Las Vegas and is on his 6th week of a 8,000 mile trip in his hot rod.  Jim and his Roadster has made multiple endurance runs, even winning a few endurance competitions.  

Phil and his family are fans of our Killer Sandwiches.  They stopped by and enjoyed a little time in the Killer Zone.  Of course, John, Joe C, and Joe all had to find their way into the picture.

Killer race car driver Joel Keenan, local boy and fan favorite, brought his Mod Lite race car to the Killer Zone.   Keenan’s fans, and our Killer Sandwich fans, were excited to get a chance to see the 09 in front of the Killer Zone!

Jerry Polson has been a long time friend of the Brooks family.  Of course, he’s also a Killer Sandwich fan!  There is nothing better than a friend, unless it is a Killer Sandwich!

Joe shows off the latest Killossal that was ordered.  Our Killossal is a monstrous creation that includes 4 of our award winning Killer Sandwiches.  To date, many have tried but only two brave souls have completed the challenge.  If this sandwich doesn’t scare you, you’re already full! 

We are lucky to have the original “Happy Butcher” as our Father.  He helped us to become cool butchers.  Plus, he gave sandwich lovers in Des Moines the Dad’s Killer Sandwich.  Twice voted the Best Sandwich in Des Moines!

One of our customers thought we needed Killer Aprons since we make Killer Sandwiches.   So, she created a couple of  Killer Tie Dye Aprons!  We think they are Killer!
