Elder Crosby is being transferred out of Des Moines and came in for one last Killer Sandwich before he leaves from all of us at B&B goodbye and good luck.
Rosemary Moody, a friend of the Brooks family, stopped by the Killer Zone. She even let John jr take a picture with her.
We had a great morning of throwing frisbee golf. John came out on top with a 62. The big story of the morning was Allison throwing a “blackeye”. When we say “blackeye”, we mean it literally. She threw a disc that hit Archie square in the eye. We think it is going to be a shiner!

David proved to us that Killer Sandwiches can put Hair on Top of Your Head!
Cheryl Rogers had John jr cut a Killer Prime Rib to enter into the Iowa State Fair Nostalgic Comfort Food Division – Entree Competition. She took that prime rib and made an Iowa State Fair masterpiece! Cheryl’s prime rib won first place for best presentation.
Haruka and Risa, from Kofu, Japan, stopped by B&B Grocery, Meat & Deli and met with John jr, a 3rd generation Iowa butcher. John taught Haruka a butcher trick for her to take back to Japan. Of course, the girls grabbed a couple of Killer Sandwiches too.
Vidhya and Sean discovered that once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, a Killer Sandwich will create a great story, but only love will give you a fairy tale! Congratulations from the Brooks Family!
The Make Retail team stopped by the Killer Zone to grab a few Killer Sandwiches. They are a creative marketing team from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They loved our Killer Deli and Jenny enjoyed getting into the picture!
Eden, a local Des Moines boutiques shop, had our 3rd generation butchers cut a few steaks for a party they were holding. They celebrated their 9th year in business. The party and the steaks were a success.
Billy Driber, from NFL Films, stopped by the Killer Zone to celebrate his birthday a little early. Billy discovered that in life, as in football, you won’t go far unless you know where the Killer Sandwiches are! Happy Birthday from the Killer Zone!
